Laura Durand!
She wins a Kamvas Pro 19, Huion’s latest graphics tablet worth $1,200. Ready to take her designs to the next level with 4K UHD Resolution, Dual Pen Powered by PenTech 4.0, Anti-sparkle Surface, and 10 Points Finger Touch.
We love Laura’s nostalgic, atmospheric Pixel Art scene.
Everything from the soft lighting, the level of detail and thought in how each element fits within the Pixel Art aesthetic, and the character design itself is spot on.
The animation and subtle camera movement allows us to enjoy the fullness of the 3D scene and we glean so much about the character from their desk set-up.
In Second Place…
Sofía Nin with her wonderful Cat Delivery Service. We love the playful scene and animation of these characters. The moving sky and clouds are a clever use of the Pixel Art medium and it’s a great piece overall.
In Third Place…
Ruta Babelyte with this fun, different way of thinking about Pixel Art, comparing it with a knitted sweater. It works so nicely and we love the level of detail in the character and scene. It feels so peaceful and nice to watch and the shadows and footprints in the snow are very effective.
